Balkastrand Familiecamping is uniquely situated within walking distance from
 Snogebæk fishing hamlet, where you will find restaurants, a smokehouse, glass art,
clothing and souvenir shops, as well as a delicatessen.
 
 From the campsite, you walk along a short sandy track to the lovely white sandy
 beach and turquoise water. The beach stretches from Balka to Snogebæk harbour.
 The water is shallow, the sand is clean, and the beach is staffed with lifeguards
 in peak season.
 
 In the summer holiday period, you will experience lots of activities on the beach,
 such as beachvolley, and the hiring of pedalos, boats, kayaks
 and windsurfing boards + equipment.
